Oh, dear Mary Anne,
Not only did you take me on a stroll through memory lane with the snippets of music that elicited a smile because they are part of my life, but you also brought me to tears several times with your heartfelt narrative of a life lived fully, with all the pain, and the hope, and the arrival at peace that makes you the beautiful, complete woman you are today. You are an inspiration, Mary Anne. Olga Essex
Dear Mary Anne,
What an evocative, poetic and provocative show you shared with us Saturday! I was so moved by your life story, a varied odyssey of exploratory experiences all over the world. Thank you for sharing the highs and lows of your life through story remembrances, poetry, and your beautiful body movements, I was entranced by your stage presence: your voice in song called me within (lots of goose bumps!), your body movements so artfully posed as sculpture, and, in dance.
It was deep, soulful and uplifting, a night to remember, and I thank you from my heart. Dorothy Loud
